Further information
At your first appointment we'd like to get to know you and build a comprehensive picture of your dental health. We'll discuss your concerns, previous treatments, and your wishes.
Please arrive about 15–20 minutes before your appointment so there's enough time for registration and paperwork.
Our practice has two locations in Munich: Munich-Giesing and Munich-Trudering.
As both locations operate separately, we recommend using the same location for your treatments where possible.
What to bring to your first appointment:
- →With private insurance: ID card or passport with proof of registration
- →With statutory insurance (e.g. AOK, TK or SBK): your electronic health card or a current insurance certificate
- →If treatment is covered by the social welfare office: the corresponding treatment voucher and an ID
- →For minors without accompaniment: a power of attorney or consent form from parents or legal guardians
- →If available: previous findings, X-rays, or documents from earlier treatments
- →If available: a list of your current medications
- →If important documents are missing, in certain cases treatment can only be provided as a private service
Medical history and health questions
Before the examination we'll ask you to fill in a medical-history form. In it we ask for important information about your general state of health. Particularly important are details about, for example:
- →pregnancy or breastfeeding
- →ongoing chemotherapy or the use of bisphosphonates
- →chronic or serious illnesses
- →regularly taken medications (e.g. blood thinners such as aspirin)
- →known allergies or intolerances
- →diseases of the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, or other vital organs
Please also inform us of any changes in your health or new medications at future visits. For legal reasons the medical-history form must be updated regularly. We ask for your understanding.
Please bring the following documents to your appointment, if available:
- →your insurance card
- →X-rays or documents from previous treatments
- →a list of your current medications
- →for minors without accompaniment: a consent form from parents or legal guardians
* If your state of health has changed or you are taking new medications, please let us know before treatment.
Minor patients should, where possible, attend accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Older teenagers can in many cases also come to the appointment alone. For certain treatments, however, we require written consent.
You can request the relevant forms from us in advance or download them here.
It's important to us that children experience their dental visit as relaxed as possible. We place great value on a calm, friendly atmosphere and a sensitive approach to children and teenagers.
For families there is, among other things, a children's area, books, toys, and entertainment options in the waiting room. We're also happy to advise parents on questions about dental health and prevention.
Depending on the treatment, there are different billing options. For some services — for example a professional dental cleaning or minor treatments — you'll receive the invoice directly after the appointment at reception. Payment is convenient by card or contactless, including VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Please note that we do not accept cash.
For more extensive treatments, billing may take a little more time. This depends, among other things, on your insurance, any supplementary insurance, or a treatment and cost plan. In many cases we send invoices conveniently by email. If necessary, please also check your spam folder.
For billing we work with the service provider ABZ ZR. In many cases flexible payment models or instalments are available through them. You can find more information here. If you have questions about the invoice or payment, feel free to talk to us any time — we're happy to help.
Our practice works with modern digital diagnostics and contemporary treatment methods:
- →Digital X-ray with low radiation exposure
- →Intraoral cameras for better diagnostics
- →Digital impressions with an intraoral scanner
- →Modern CAD/CAM technology for dental prosthetics
By using digital scanners, classic impression material can be dispensed with in many cases. This makes treatment considerably more pleasant for many patients.
In certain cases, crowns, bridges, or splints can be produced within a single day thanks to modern CAD/CAM technology. Learn more about our technologies here.
Professional dental cleaning (PZR) thoroughly removes tartar, plaque, and discoloration — including in hard-to-reach places. It's an important part of prevention and helps prevent cavities, gum inflammation, and periodontitis.
In our practice we work with modern EMS systems and Guided Biofilm Therapy®. In many cases we recommend a professional cleaning every 6 months. For online appointment booking we use .
Depending on the treatment, you'll receive individual recommendations for the period after the procedure. In general we recommend:
- →avoiding coffee, tea, and red wine for a few hours
- →not smoking if possible
- →using special toothpaste for sensitive teeth
- →maintaining good oral hygiene

You can read the documents comfortably at home, print them, or — if needed — fill them in before your appointment.
Do I need to check the location when booking?
Yes. Our practice has locations in Giesing and Trudering. Please check your appointment confirmation so you come to the right location.
Can I come without an appointment?
In emergencies, for example severe toothache, we try to treat patients as quickly as possible. However, we recommend contacting us first by phone or via WhatsApp/Telegram.
Does treatment hurt?
Most modern dental treatments today are well tolerated or nearly painless. If you're particularly sensitive or anxious, feel free to talk to us.
I'm afraid of the dentist. What can I do?
You're not alone in this. Please let us know. We'll take our time, explain every step calmly, and proceed gently.
How often should I come for a check-up?
Many tooth and gum conditions cause no symptoms at first. Regular check-ups help detect problems early. As a rule, we recommend a check-up every 6 months.
